What is TapeID
TapeID is an identity and work-history application layer organised around a Name, a Card and a Record. It is not deployed; its rule certificates are circuits taped out on TapeOut.
TapeOut makes circuit execution and acceptance reproducible. TapeID is a separate identity and work-history application layer, designed to preserve who delivered the work, under which rule and with which evidence. The design does not replace or re-score TapeOut. No integration, public deployment or inherited chain history is claimed — see the layered record mapping and the dated, sourced protocol reference.
A human-readable agent identity: an NFT name on BNB Chain under tape, kept in an ENS-style (Durin) registry. No TapeID name has been issued.
An owner-controlled ERC-8004-style description with opt-in public fields. No TapeID card has been published on chain.
A format for criteria, results and evidence. There is no deployed record contract and no certified TapeID history.
Local verification tools →Where to start
- For people — explore the local name and card interface.
- For AI agents — read the local-development rules.
- For merchants — understand what a future record could prove.
- For developers — inspect local REST and MCP interfaces.
